ORCNBEANS14 Twitch Streamer

War paint for an orc army.

All great armies need a banner to carry into battle with them. A symbol to rally behind as steel meets steel. For Twitch Streamer, ORCNBEANS14 ("Orc N Beans 14"), we used his gamertag as inspiration and turned it into not only a logo to rally behind, but a brand fit for an orc army. What we came to was the "Orc Helm" minimalist logo mark depicting an orc warrior wearing a helmet accompanied by a shield bearing the mark of the orc army with two battle axes crossing behind it. This symbol became the centerpiece which informed the decisions made throughout the entire branding. The distressed circle inspired the clean, yet jagged, custom typography. The color palette is a nod to the green of an orc and the burnt red-orange of the war paint they might wear into battle. The scope of this project required assets for Twitch itself in the form of banners and notification artwork. We created promotional banners for that platform as well as other social media platforms to maintain a consistent look and feel. Finally, the "War Cry" illustration of an orc charging into battle was created for the pop-up notification as new subscribers joined the orc army during ORCNBEANS14's live streams.
